What is Neuroplasticity and why is it important for movement?
Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to rewire itself and adapt to changes, both good and bad. Negative changes, as in sedentary lifestyles, and physical or emotional traumas, lead to negative adaptations, as in pain, movement impairments, more injuries and other physical illnesses.
Positive changes lead to positive adaptations and promote pain-free movement, increased strength and flexibility, and overall health and well-being.
